Alexander,The Metropolitan Cat

This 7x9" panel is a commission for a little girl named Alexandra. Her family adopted this wonderful very large full grown male from my son and his wife. This cat was born in Malta, our missionary family raised him there and brought him back to the United States with a special domestic animal passport which I'm certain he will need for his next adventure, perhaps France, where his new family is from. Life is magical and mysterious, no?

Ah, the lives of a cat. It's good they have nine of them. I find this cat both wise and mysterious because of your wonderful rendering.

Thank you so much for painting Alex. It is so good to see him. I miss him. I am sure I will miss him even more after I get home and he is not here.

Louise, you are so welcome! you would find comfort in knowing his new family, they are really wonderful and they adore him. The timing surrounding the adoption was a truly meant to be scenario. miss you all!
