Frida Kahlo

Oil on 24x24 panel.
I think I've finally completed this painting. It will be part of the Morris Graves line up. It was okay before but lacking in punch, Frida Kahlo herself was not lacking in punch, she was the epitome of fight. Being a painter for me is not about settling, it's about the KO., the slam dunk, the glory of being on top of your game because you summoned within yourself all that you possibly could and most likely took a risk, and only you know how far you stretched.
