Rachel: Eureka, California, United States; Hi, welcome to my art blog! I post only my own artwork here, which could be anything from cats and other animals to abstract art, portraiture and plein air painting. It's impossible to pick a favorite mode because I enjoy them all, and it changes all the time anyway. One thing I can say with certainty, is painting on location aka plein air painting is the most complex and amazing work I can think of, and my goal is to do more of it because painting from nature is really living.

My studio is located at 208 C Street Studios and Hall Gallery in old town Eureka, CA. Open by appointment and for first Saturday Arts Alive! 6-9pm.
